The OLPH Knights
of Columbus Council 794 sponsors two BINGO occasions every week. Come on down to the K of C Hall at 400 S Broadway in Lindenhurst
and join the fun on either Wednesday morning for $1,950.00 in prizes, doors open at 8:00 am (Start time 10:15 am), or Thursday
evening for $2,450.00 doors open at 5:30 pm (New Start time 7:15 pm) or both. For more information

UKRAINIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY
PICNIC
This Picnic is sponsored by our friends
& brothers of the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church. It will be held on Sunday August 29th on the Parish
Grounds at at 1 pm at 224 N. 4th
Street. Admission for Adults is $20 & $10
for young adults 12-16 years, 11 and under are free. Food to be served will be
Pyrohy, Holubsi, Kolbasa, Kapusta, Hot Dogs, Chicken, Corn and Salads plus Soft Drinks, Coffee Tea, Fruits and Cakes. Cash
Bar for Ukrainian Beer, Wine & etc. For
the kids, face painting, Moon bounce, Clown, Ice Cream, Popcorn & other surprises. DJ Koretskyy will provide music with singers such as Oros Sisters, Kristina Shafanski and others. Those interested can

SOCCER CHALLENGE
This Soccer Challenge of scoring goals is open to Boys and Girls of ages 10 to 14. It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4th at the Louden Avenue
Soccer Fields in Amityville. Registration
starts at 8 am and then competition starts at 9 am. This challenger is sponsored by the Council & District 11
– bring your boys & girls down let them do their kicks……
Atlantic City Trip
An Atlantic
City trip is planned for Monday, September 13th to Showboat.
Bus will leave Council at 8 am and the
cost is $40.00 per person

& sisters. We are looking for riders interested in joining a unique kind of fundraising club. YES – we want you
to join a MOTORCYCLE CLUB!! Enjoy a much-loved hobby while raising money for various charities. We will have poker runs, scavenger
hunts, picnics & other events promoting goodwill, brotherhood & sharing. Remember, the type of motorcycle you ride
is not important, as one of our goals is to promote by example, safe use, operation & enjoyment of motorcycles. Membership

OUR LADY OF FATIMA ASSEMBLY
Day at the Races – Saturday, August 29th at Farmingdale Cl.from 3
pm to7 pm. Price is only $10 & includes Heroes and Salads at each table with
beer, wine and soda –weather permitting it will be held outside. Tickets

Installation of Officers – Wednesday, Sept. 15th at OLPH Council. The installation starts at 7pm with a light repast to follow, a donation of only $5.00
is asked to support the Assembly and their Officers. Thank you.
Dist. 11 & OL F Assembly Picnic
This Picnic will be held on Sunday, Sept. 5th starting at 9 am until 6 pm at the Amityville
Village Beach. Tickets are priced at $15.00 for those 10 years & older,
no charge for under 10. Cooking will be under the auspices of Chef Paul Richichi & his staff.
Continental breakfast starts at 9am,
Lunch will be served at 12.30 – Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Salads etc.
Dinner will be served at 3.30 pm consisting
of chicken cutlet, salads, corn on the cob & beverages.

ACE IN THE HOLE
A bus trip is planned to the Ace in the Hole new Venue at The Royal Manor in Garfield, N. J. The date is Tuesday, November 16th,
the cost is $85 per person and includes the following:
Coffee and Buns, Bingo & Jokes,
Stop Prizes, One hour open Bar, Beer, Wine & Soda on Tables, Garden Salad, Ziti Marinara, chicken Cacciatore & Italian
Roast Beef, Rosemary Potatoes, Mixed Veg. Medley, Dessert, Coffee/Tea.
The show is called: Uncle Floyds Spaghetti Western – a wild, wild west with an Italian Twist. The band for the show is “I Ragazzi Band”. Price includes all gratuities & taxes and we have Alert Coach with Ronnie.
